The collection “Human Nature” incorporates two aspects of photography that I love, landscape and portraiture.  All landscapes were shot in my hometown of Whangarei, New Zealand.  The models used are some of the most important people in my life.  

 

We already see recognizable shapes within Mother Nature.  The clouds, trees, streams and rocks have reminded us all of human features at one time or another.  This brings that idea to life in a much more detailed way.

“Human Nature” is about merging the human form with Mother Nature.  Everything is made out of the same energy and when our spirit passes on, our body remains with the earth.  The war between Human Nature and Mother Nature continues with pollution and climate change.  The collection shows that we can live together harmoniously and look after each other.
